Mabon

It's nearly Mabon. This is a time of year that is extra special to me because it marks the time when I met my best female friend. This year that is especially important, since it is the 25th anniversary of that occasion.

My friend and I have come a long way since we first met. We had different dreams and plans back when we first met. Neither of us is where we thought we were heading back then, yet we are both in good places. Too, I suppose we are both at an age where Mabon, the time to enjoy the fruits of our labour, is significant.

I do have some marvellous joys in my life, and I want to celebrate those things at this time, not least a very special, loving and enduring friendship.
